I am dreaming.....

Finally, December is beginning. Especially, in the latter part of last week, it was very cold and it was snowing at the northern area of Hiroshima Pref.
But today, it wasn't so cold and after coming back to my home, I was relaxing in my room.(... in my Kotatsu, accurately.)
Actually, for the last week, I was hesitating whether I would get some one, or not.

Last Sunday, I went to Hiroshima University and I met a stereo microscope for the first time.

When we are students, we almost use optical microscopes.

In case of this microscoke, the preparation(specimen prepared on a glass slide for use with a microscope) must be needed and we can't use thick specimens.
But for stereo microscope, we can use many kind of object. First of all, it is very easy to use this, so we can relax and we can also touch the specimen with micro-tweezers.

I am looking at two types of stereo microscope, made by Olympus and dreaming if I could get one of them, someday. (*^-^*)

An engineer taught me the CMOS camera for microscope and it's reratively cheap than the mirror-less camera.

An interesting event in Hiroshima University.

I found this information in the website of Hiroshima botanical garden, a month ago.
The observation of the moss and I was interested in the biology. There was the limmit of participant to this event, so it was needed the pre-registration.
Finally there were over 20 requests, so another date(November 27th) was added and Seeing it, I requested at onece. It was Okay.(*^^)v

Every Sunday, I will always be relaxed all day long with drinking, but today I was so excited. 💦💦
It was 4 km from my home to Hiroshima University, so I walked. Actually, I was fine on the way, but exhausted on the way back. I felt the lack of exercise.

When I arrived at the meeting place, some people had already been there and they were talking friendy. I could know that they were the members of plant observation club, later.

Mr. Tubota and his student, who was assisting him in this event.

I picked up a kind of the moss, but it was too small. So my action-camera coundn't focus on it....((+_+))

Mr. Tubota was walking through some pleces, sun shining area, shade of the house, small space by a little stream. Some kinds of the moss were living on each place.
But I couldn't determine these mosses.

In the site of Hiroshima Univ., there were some remains of living and on a small hill, there were some signs of houses.

After walking around for 10 minutes, we were enjoying cherry blossoms, out of season.

 子福桜: ko-buku-sakura

Digital Museum of Hiroshima University

 Post script:
In this Digital Museum, the newest information about the autumn leaves in Miyajima. (updated November 28th)

"Where am I ? "💦💦
At lunch time, I was relaxing for a while and I was walking, but I dindn't know this place in detail. Because I had a poor sence of direction, severely!

I was feeling comfortable and I thought that l would come here again in my walkning time.

After I went back to my home, I was seaching these places. (*^-^*)

     ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・

The second part of this event, we could learn the basis on the moss.

I was looking at the whole body of the moss with stereo microscope.

Next, Small sized leaves(length:less than 1mm) were cut down each other with a razor.

And finally, that leaf would be cutting down, separated to ultra thin slices! But it was impossible for me to do so.💦💦

It was all I could do to separate that leaf into two portions.

Making thin slices from a leaf of the moss was not the end of work but the start of daily work, what the name of this moss was.
Oh my goodness!

I ordered the text book about the moss on the schoolyard.
I'd like to study it, little by little. (*^-^*)

The documents of this event.

For only one week after ,Miyajima has been changed!
(*^-^*)

Olympus 14-150mm(1400)

Route 2,leading to Miyajima was very crowded and many cars continued stop and go. I usually park my car at Ajina-Fujigran and in every weekend, the signboad"Please park here to tourinsts"is stood.
When I arrived here at 8:45AM, there were many space, but when I came back, there was no space. That is the best way.

In Yogai Hill, it is always quiet, but sometimes tourists was walking through.

Comparing with last week, the number of dropping leaves was increasing and the ground has been changed special carpet.

In this time, I was wathing this small shrine, named Imaise Shrine(今伊勢神社) Unfortunately, this shrine was unknown in detail but a so-called descendant of Ise Shrine, the center of Shinto.

From now on, I haven't cared it at all. But the structure of this shrine was fine!
I could find out the Shinto architectures, here and there.

The original roof, buit by Hiwada-buki (檜皮葺) and Kokera-buki (杮葺き) shaped beautiful curve, but in later the repairment of tile roof was performed, I would suppose.
In the case of tile roof, this beautiful curve couldn't be built at all.

The most things,I was much surprised was this, the structure with practicality and decorativeness.
Do you know "Kaeru-Mata"in Japanese? (*^-^*)

There is the rink of Kaeru-Mata.

The shape of girder supporting the eaves was beautiful.

There were many kinds of autumn leaves.

This parent were stepping down, quickly!
But, I couldn't do so. I wasn't good at high place. 💦
In fact, this staircase has 100 steps. And there are no handrails.💦💦

In summer, we couldn't see these houses through many fresh green leaves of cherry.
But now...perhaps, there would be no leaf in next Saturday.

Yesterday, I brought a portable chair, very nice goods. In the case of chairs, made from concrete, we couldn't sit down for a long time.
I was relaxing for about 1 hour. The sun was shining and it was quite here, in spite of noises of the shopping street.

I felt a little disappointed without alcholic drinks. But I felt the happiness, too.
This Yogai-hill is my favorite place in Miyajima.

Luckily, right in front of me, one falling leaf was caught in the guard net.

Lookin up the sky, I was surprised that the leaves already had been decreasing like this.

The ferry bouts were running, continuously and in each boat, many tourist were enjoying.
On the vehicle deck the entry was prohibited, but there were many tourists. Well, it couldn't be helped.

As always, I went to my secret view-point. (*^-^*)

Please write these sentences in Japanese.

Many tourists wete walking through the Torii-gate, made of stone. There were two of the very long (12m) stone piller, not connected.
It was buit in 1906, but now, it can't be made in Japan.

Comparing with JR and Matsudai-Kisen, I prefered Matsudai-Kisen. But many tourists would prefer JR.
Thinking about the course of ferry-boat, JR was better than Matsudai-Kisen.
Actually, JR was going more nearer to the Torii-gate, so tourists could look at it very closely. But some years ago, JR happened
the accident of the grounding.According to the accident, JR happened another ones.
I was indiferent to the nearer course of JR, so I prefered to Matshudai-Kisen. Besides, it was able to use Hiroden's special coupen-tickets about Miyajima.

Looking up to the North direction, we could see Higashimachi aera, where the Guest house- Kokoro was. The owners of Mr. and Mrs. Mise were very friendly to me, so I have been to them, four times.

From my secret view-point, I came here to this, not secret area but public view-point.

I could see many tourists, yesterday, too. There was the big tree of ginkgo, most beautiful in this time. Next Saturday, perhaps we couldn't see that scene.

Yesterday, it was a low tide at 12:18 PM, so many tourists were walking on the sand beach.
I'd like to go there and walk, as soon as possible!

This area, I always took photos was the place where we climbed up the stairs. Suddenly, I could met a priest, cleaning up that stairs. There was a famous temple, named Komyo-in, near this place.

Going to the entrance of Momiji dani, there were a lot of tourist, as expected.
It wasthe best season of school excursions, so many students were there in Momijidani, too.

In this place, before the Momijidani-Park, many tourists were there, like this.
To tell the truth, I prefered enjoying the quiet atmosphere to lookng at tourist, so I turned to the right at that point.

In this area, we could find out the real-autumn!

Going to Momiji-Path, the tourists were decreasing. (*^-^*)

To Daisyoin-Temple, but I never go moreover, despite of my denominetion. (^^)!

Walking through Asebi-Path, tourists were sometimes could be seen.

This area would be very crowded in only season of spring, cherry blossoms.

Tahoto Pagoda was another my favorite place, very simple, but I was sorry about the lack of maintenance.
There was Kaeru-mata, painted in color. Great!

The limitted touring of Torii gate was very popular and at over noon, many tourists were walking. around Torii gate.
Till next Sunday, 27th...Here we go!(*^-^*)

Looking from Asebi-Path, I could be satisfied with these good scenes. In each season, there were various images.
These areas were relatively quiet, so I could relax, too.

This place was next to Jukei-so, Japanese style hotel.
In this place, we could look at the west part of Miyajima, Itsukusima Shrine mainly and we could also look at Hiroshima city, too.

Luckily, I could look aroud Torii gate, although the tour duaration had already passed.
I would never get tired of watching this from a lttle high place.

22.11.13
I went to Miyajima yesterday.

お詫び:
Sigma ズームレンズですが、APSC対応でして。今回は敢えてfull sizeのSONY α7に接続しての撮影を。
撮影画像ですが、敢えてトリミング無しでのup をさせて頂きたいと存じます。

I would often stay my car at the parking area of Fujigran-Ajina and of course, I'll always go shopping at this store before going to Miyajima. (*^-^*)
About 10 minutes later, I reached to Miyajima-guchi station.

Comparing with last week, more tourists were coming. The weather was fine yesterday, so we could enjoy Miyajima.

When I'll go on a ferry-boat, I never go into the cabin. Because not only the prevention of COVID's infection but also the enjoyment of fresh atmosphere. (*^-^*)
In fact, the cabin was very crowded. 💦

At first, I'll always go to Yogai-hill, nevertheless all tourinsts will go to the shopping street.

At this Yogai-hill, there was the very impressive riot in the 1500s.
Until in the 1600s(the Edo period), there had been many struggles with Samurais(侍:Samurai). In Miyajima, Mori-army was fighting with Sue-army.

At that time, there was the sea over those areas and at the hill, called Tonooka(塔の岡), 5-flowered Pagoda was,,, Sue-army had built the base.
On the other hands, Mori-army built the fake-base, too at Yogai-hill. And from this, Mori-army were looking at Sue-army, actually they were only pretending to watch it.

In 1555, Mori-army were preparering to do the surprise attack and they were going through the behind of Miyajima-island and at the eary morning, they attacked Sue-army completely.

Unfortunately, there was no sings of the ancient's histories.at this area.

At Yogai-hill, there are many cherry trees and they are changing to autumn leaves at the same time., so there are many fallen leaves.

From Yogai-hills, I went to my secret view-point, a small hill via Yamabe-path.

This area is the center of Miyajima, where the local people can live. But in fact, this island was designated for Setonaikai-Nationa Park in 1934 and since over 1,000 years ago, Miyajima has been respected for the island of the God. So, nowadays the areas, local people can live are limitted, only a small areas of this island.
There are many kinds of specific customs, due to Shintoism. Some of them....I will be wondering why.

The opposite side is Yobai-hill and these areas are called Higashi-machi....I love this Higashi-machi, because I'll be able to be relaxed very well.
Sitting on the bench in Yogai-hill, I can enjoy myself with feeling the atmosphere of Higashi-machi.

When I'll come on public transportations, I almost drink Sake. But on yesterday, I came here by my car unfortunately...

Walking aroud the Uguisu Path, I could find the wild camellia.

After a few minutes, I arrived at the public view point and I could look down the Pagoda.
In this area, there had been Jinsenji-temple, Priest Senshin had been austere training in the 1700s.

Next, I arrived at Momiji-dani, where the famous place for autumn leaves was. Many tourists were coming and they were enjoing the autumn. (*^-^*)

I took photos, especialy real-autum leaves. Actually, it will become about 25% of autumn leaves in all Miyajima, I'll think.

After this, I was walking aroud Asebi-path, Tahoto Pagoda, Itsukusima Shrine and Torii-gate.

Yesterday, there was a high-tide, so I couldn't walk through on the sandy beach.

These areas were crowded with many tourists and I went to the shopping street. (*^-^*)

Good-by to Miyajima and next Saturday, I will come again.

22.11.05
Looking up the Torii gate.

After a week, I went to Miyajima. The tourists were increasing for some weeks.

It was cloudy and a little chilly. I went to Itsukusima Shrine directly with many tourists.

From Nobember 1st to 27th, we can visit this Torii gate via passage for construction.
On Nobember 1st, many tourists were coming, so I was worried that I would have to wait.
But fortunately, there weren't so many people, I could go through without waiting.

This passage is at a height of 3m above the ground, we can enjoy unusual viewing.

Under the roof of Torii gate, there is the decorate of the crescent moon and the other side, the decorate of the sun, too.

For a long time, many repairs were required and looking at closer, we can realize them.

I'd like to pick up many sceneries of repairments in web news.

22.10.23
I went to Miyajima, yesterday.

This is my room and I'm relaxing in this for all day long.

In this season, I like Japanese-Kotatsu best!(*^-^*)
I seldom watch TV, so my PC is essential for me.

One of my hobby is the old camera, made in 1950's.

This big rice paddle is my favorite one, made by Shakushino-ie.

I started to Miyajima from my home at 8:00. It was a little cold, so I wore an electric-vest for motorcyclist.
It was very hot but when I arrived at JR. Saijo station, I felt it was too hot!

It took 70 minutes from Saijo to JR. Miyajima stasion.
When I arrived at Miyajima-guchi ferry terminal, I was very surprised. There were many more tourists, compared with in 3weekes ago.

The ferry boat, two companies are operating, I prefer Matsudai Ferryto JR Ferry.
Matsudai Ferry is the groop company of Hiroden. so It's Okay to use one-day ticket for Miyajima.

The previous ferry terminal was this.

https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%AE%AE%E5%B3%B6%E5%8F%A3%E3%83%95%E3%82%A7%E3%83%AA%E3%83%BC%E4%B9%97%E3%82%8A%E5%A0%B4

Renewal work on the ferry terminal has begun from 2016 so, when I have been to Miyajima, this terminal was under construction.
And finally, this work completely finished in July.

It is changed very convenient! (*^-^*)

Matsudai Ferry.

JR Ferry.

Many tourists were coming to Miyajima!

Miyajima ferry terminal.

The entrance of JR Ferry.

The entrance of Matsudai Ferry.

There were company comfort trips and school trips.

At the entrance of Miyajima ferry terminal, almost many tourists wii go to the west, but I ony will go to the south.
First, I will go to Yogai hill.

Looking at Pagoda, I will be able to relax.

The leaves of cherry are dropping in these days.

The view of Miyajima-guchi from Miyajima island.
When there are many tourists, the ferry bouts is running, continuously.

At this hill, I can look over many houses. It's quiet....filled with many green.

From Yogai hill, I will walk on Machiya(町家) street.

In this street, there are some houses, built in 1600s, and this street and some other ares were certified as Important Preservation District for Groops of Traditional Buildings (重要伝統的建造物保存地区) in 2019.

These houses are renovated, as possible as original styles are maintained.

This point is one of the most favorite areas in Miyajima.

I believe that this Pagoda is best, compared with Itsukushima shrine.

Climbing up a small hill, I can see this view.

In Miyajima, we can see this plant, named Asebi here and there
There are many wild deers, but they never eat this Asebi, because of poison. But this flower is pretty....almost white flower but rarely red one is.

Next, I go to Momijidani Park.
It is a little faster to enjoy autumn leaves.

Wild deers....but acutually they are breeded! 💦

Sometimes, I can see these scenes. So, they are often too used to....なれなれしい(怒)

Next, I go to Asebi Path and there are few passengers, except in spring....お花見 season.
There are many cherry trees, so you must go to this street. (*^^)v

This Pagoda, Tahoto is small and rather dilapidated, but I think that the structure is very beautiful!

There are many Asebis here and there.

I like this scene of Tahoto best in this direction.

I arrive at Nishino-Matsubara Shore.
This time is low tide.\(^o^)/
It is very fun to be able to go ahead!

This is an app that knows the tide and very convenient!

This work started three years ago and will be finished soon. So, it seems that the scaffolding is being cleared more and more.
Torii gate becomes very beautiful! so in this autumn, a lot more tourists will come!

今の時期、意外と野生の花が少ないようですが・・・・

野生・・・?とは言い難いですが、鹿さん達のランチタイムです。

島内には(多分)天敵は居ませんので、実にリラックスしたモノですね。(*^-^*)
